Department of Cardiovascular Pathology
The Department of Cardiovascular Pathology provides consultation and conducts education and research in sudden cardiac death, cardiomyopathy, atherosclerosis, vasculitis and cardiac tumors. Specimens for consultation may be submitted as intact cardiac specimens, with or without previous dissection, or as glass slides and/or blocks. The registries are sudden coronary death, vasculitis, and heart tumors.
